Strategy Development Group, Inc. as a licensed CYOC®
facilitator provides strategic decision-making facilitation customized
to meet your needs. We are dedicated to empowering business leaders to
find new answers, explore uncharted possibilities, and discover a
greater Vision of themselves and their businesses. The following
packages include facilitation, session preparation and follow-up,
handouts, minutes, and between-session consultations with the business
leader (when appropriate). Many of these services are also available on
an hourly basis.
1. Strategy Assessment
How is your business positioned and where is it currently heading?
Answering these questions is, more often than not, an eye-opening
experience. Each member of your leadership team participates in the
Strategy Assessment, which consists of a questionnaire and follow-up
30-minute teleconference. The Strategy Assessment is not an
evaluation of the competence of the Management Team or a measurement of
the company’s success, or lack thereof. It is a diagnosis of the
strategic health of the company, a strategy "snap shot" that
reveals whether there is agreement on the company’s current course.
The results of the Strategy Assessment are presented in a four-hour
meeting with the Management Team and includes:
identification of your current strategic positioning.
into your strategy and where the company is heading.
accounting on how much consensus there is on the company Vision or
whether resources are being invested in conflicting directions.
preliminary list of your Strategic Choices.
overview of the strategic decision-making process and
recommendations on how to proceed.
Strategy and Vision Development
Strategy focuses your Management Team’s attention on where you want
the business to be five to ten years from now. Operations are the
specific steps required to get it there. Strategy is doing the right
work; Operations is doing the work right.
We work with your Team to define the right work for your company by
developing a sustainable business strategy and its resulting Vision.
Development of your strategy includes the Strategy Assessment and
consists of four, four-hour decision-making sessions with the leadership
team. A Competitive Analysis and a Market Forecast are completed by your
team and provide data for the process. Many companies are familiar with
how to set goals and objectives. However goals and objectives should
only be developed after the company’s competitive advantage has been
clearly defined and articulated.
3. Comprehensive CYOC® Four-Stage Strategic Plan
Sail ahead of the competition by engaging in CYOC's comprehensive,
four-stage strategic decision-making process. The result is a strategic
plan that is integrated into the company budget process and provides
detailed guidance to all levels of management. In addition, your team
will have all the tools they need to hold each other accountable
quarterly and update the strategic plan annually. Comprehensive
strategic decision-making consists of the Strategy Assessment and ten,
four-hour sessions with a licensed CYOC® facilitator.

Stage III: Assess. Assess current operations and create five-year
